This course focuses on the ancient three kingdoms and on the
united kingdom of Shil-la. Also the students can study the
origins and the development of ancient culture.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an
opportunity to study not only the politics, economy and culture
of the Koryo Dynasty but also the nature of that age and the
problems in that study.
Early Modern History of Korea(3)
This course focuses on the social structure, the nature of
the culture, and the Song-li-hak a reformed confucianism in
the early Cho-sun Dynasty. Students can study the process
of social change, reformation, and modernization in the late
Cho-sun Dynasty.

The purpose of this course is to equip students with skills
for criticizing historical sources so as to improve their
ability to think critically. Also the students can have access
to historical sources of Korean history from a sociological
perspective.

but also of modern nationalism and the Korean independence
